Howard Stern is the most credible man in the media.

Why Howard Stern is the most credible man in the media.

If  I were to evaluate the ethos of a celebrity I would choose Howard Stern.  Howard Stern has been one of my favorite members of the media for a long time.  Hence, the name King of All Media. I think he would demonstrate the perfect example as having great character and a quality reputation in some audiences and in other audiences not so much.  Many times he is often judged by people who don't listen to his show, and they are often highly critical of him and say awful things about him.  While people who are fans of his, follow him closely and would purchase any product he were to endorse.

Howard Stern presents himself as a mad man behind a microphone to the outside world, but there is no doubt what lies beneath the surface is a highly thoughtful, compassionate and intelligent man.  He takes on the persona as reckless and wild in order to develop publicity in order to gain an audience.  Once he has a person's attention, he is able to maintain it  by producing  quality opinions and uncommonly humorous material.  If he were all gimmick, he would not have been able to receive the level of success he has had for over 30 years.

Howard Stern can endorse anything from grooming products to music and movies and have the product receive great success.  Anytime someone is promoting a movie or an album on his show, minutes after they appear, it will skyrocket up the charts.  I have purchased several products he has endorsed on his show, as well as taken recommendations on movies, TV, radio show and albums because of him.  He has such great credibility with his audience and me, because he is very open.  I don't find myself wondering what is truly on his mind.  He is the only celebrity that I feel like I truly know and understand.  Whether that is true is up for debate, but that is why he is so influential to his audience.

About Me

A little bit about myself. My name is John Christopher Villarreal,  but I go by Chris.  I tried to go by John for a little while, but I don't like it because it makes me feel old and boring.  I am 29 years old and I was born in Houston, TX.  I have been married for 6 years, and I occasionally make my wife so upset she banishes me to the couch.  I spent most of my life living in Austin and I miss it dearly.

I spent 6 years in the Army and I deployed to Iraq in 2006 and 2009 for 12 months each time.  My job in the Army was a cavalry scout and sniper, and I left the Army with the rank of Sergeant.    My passion is radio and entertaining.  At some point I will try to make you laugh, but forgive me if it doesn't work.  Over the last year, I have been out of school to focus on my career in radio, and to be honest I thought I would never return to TCU again.  However, I abruptly quit my job to strike out on my own, and since I need money and the government pays me to go to school, why the heck not?

I am taking this class because I believe I may have the worst grammar on the planet, and  a lot of my career involves heavy writing and I am tired of submitting stuff and  having people look at me like I am an idiot.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully being able to formulate a grammatically correct sentence at the end of the semester.

If I can make a quick correction, I forgot to post an argument for discussion.  I am a very controversial guy so hopefully no one takes offense to my arguement.  I had a discussion the other day on my radio show where I made the case to invade the UK in order to overthrow the monoarchy.  I believe it is a shame that a Wesetern civilization still has a governmental figurehead, such as the queen.  She has no real power yet her and all of her offspring live off tax-paying dollars.  There is no reason for it and it makes me sick that Harry and Kate are international celebrities for doing nothing.  I can't believe any developed society would tolerate such an obvious abuse by the government.  In my opinion it is criminal.
